I am a huge fan of Andy Timmons so I try my best to sound like him. I also try my best to sound like him but still have a versatile guitar for other styles. This thing has a great midrange and can sound fat without getting messy. It also doesn't get sharp and harsh. I have this on my strat in the neck position with a Dimarzio AT1 Humbucker in the bridge position. It sounds very close to Andy's tone. And if you are a Timmons fan like me then just know that Andy uses this bridge model pickup in the neck and middle positions on his AT model guitars. It is also very quiet. I have very little to almost no noise coming from this thing even with the distortion on. Buy this pickup and listen to Timmons.
