Description
The Denis Wick DW3182G Heritage Series Trumpet Mouthpiece offer a large amount of mass around the throat and backbore, with thinner walls towards the rim. This design makes the mouthpiece very responsive at soft dynamics and in the upper register with easy articulation, while producing a massive sound in the lower register and at loud dynamics. This combination of increased mass at key points and thinner upper cup walls produces a mouthpiece that has reduced energy loss with power and sensitivity at any volume. A great choice for the classical-focused player, the Denis Wick Heritage Series trumpet mouthpieces are available in the same sizes as the corresponding standard Denis Wick Classic mouthpieces and are available in gold-plated finish.

  • 1.5C: 17mm cup diameter; 5mm rim width; 3.80mm throat; Barrel backbore. Slightly wider rim to add extra stability and comfort. More brilliant and flexible.
  • 3C: 16.75mm cup diameter; 5.05mm rim width; 3.70mm throat; Barrel backbore. Free blowing feel with warm sound and excellent response. Brilliant high register well-suited for Bb, C, D and Eb trumpets
  • 4X: 16.50mm cup diameter; 5.75mm rim width; 3.70mm throat, V-type backbore. Extremely comfortable cushion rim with excellent projection and stability with easily attainable high register. Great for jazz work.
  • 5X: 16mm cup diameter; 6mm rim width; 3.70mm throat; V-type backbore. Added comfort from extra wide cushion rim. Excellent projection and focus in the high register. Great jazz mouthpiece.
  • MM2C: 17mm cup diameter; 5.35mm rim width; 3.7mm throat; V-type backbore. Well-balanced, full-bodied sound with excellent flexibility.
  • MM4C: 16.5mm cup diameter; 5.35mm rim width; 3.7mm throat; V-type backbore. Focused, full sound with good projection and stability.
