Description

Plastic “brass” instruments have been in the marketplace for a few years now. First there were plastic trombones, then plastic trumpets. Manufacturers are taking what they’ve learned and applying it to more ambitious designs such as the plastic F-attachment trombone. Cool Winds is at the forefront of this design and manufacturing revolution. 

The Cool Winds Bb/F trombone features a simulated metallic finish with a bore of 0.547” plus an 8.5” diameter ABS bell, a brass leadpipe and a carbon fiber slide. Comes with mouthpiece and soft gig bag.

    Is the entire trombone plastic or only bits?

    The leadpipe is brass, the slide is carbon fiber and the rest is plastic, and it's all painted to look like a brass instrument.

    Does it come with a trombone case? Or would we need to purchase one? And if we need to buy one what do you guys recommend?

    This does not come with a case. It does come with a soft gig bag.
