Metallics Standard Pick 3-Pack brings the durability of metal to guitar picks. With 3 different metals to choose from, you can decide for yourself what you want from your picks.

Metallics Copper
Copper creates an impressive sharp tone while playing. Copper, being a softer material, will not wear down the coating of phosphor bronze or Nickel found on your guitar strings. Each pick is tumbled extra long to insure the edges are consistently round for faster release from your strings. As this is a metal guitar pick, Clayton recommends your guitar surface has a pickguard.

Metallics Stainless Steel
Stainless steel will last a lifetime and never corrode. It makes for an incredibly hard guitar pick and provides a clear, bright tone. Each pick is tumbled extra long to insure the edges are consistently round. Rounded edges help to minimize the string wear. As this is a metal guitar pick, Clayton recommends your guitar surface has a pickguard.

Metallics Brass
Brass picks create a vivid, bright, and clear tone. These incredibly stiff, durable picks will last through the toughest play. If you are looking for a pick to create smoking pick slides, then these fit the bill. Each pick is tumbled extra long to insure the edges are consistently round for faster release from your strings. As this is a metal guitar pick, Clayton recommends your guitar surface has a pickguard.

  • Metal picks aren't for everyone

After being an actual metal pick user and reading these bogus reviews I decided to write my own. First off, these are indeed .60 mm thick, I'm holding a copper Clayton up to a .60 Tortex, they're the same. Secondly, no, they don't flex… because they're metal. But hey, what do I know, I'm only a fully grown adult human living on planet earth for more than a day. God how dumb. It's metal, try using a 1.5mm thick or more dunlop, you'll find that doesn't flex either. Ok, now that I'm done assassinating the character of this so-called professional, let's get to the actual product(s)… Since learning about silver coin users like Billy Gibbons and Brian May, I got a pure silver pick for my own experimentation. Spendy, indeed. Problem is not only is pure silver an expensive loss if/when you inevitably lose it, it's soft and as a result wears fast. Not as fast as tortex, cellulose etc. but nonetheless I started using brass (I came from using 2mm thick picks so the lack of flex wasn't an issue for me, ymmv). I picked up a pack of copper and a pack of brass Clayton's, they get it done. The edge is kind of like a penny, not really round or flat but not a hard sharp edge. Pick scrapes are the best, which is really the reason why use metal. I can't really tell a difference between the two materials but I'm a high gainist so again, ymmv. My only complaints are it would be nice if they offered a thicker option like 1mm, and the tarnish that gets on your finger and thumb. The tarnish is unavoidable regardless and that's not a fault of the product, just the reality of using metal picks. I hope this is actually helpful, and again, like everything else in life, they're not for everyone.

I was told that these picks were .60mm thick,, as a guitar player knows they should be on the thin side and Flexible but these picks are not flexible. I was disappointed in the product and will not order more. the reason i ordered them was because one of your employees told me they were .60 mm. but hey are more like 1.0 or 1.5mm

Copper picks make a great warm sound, but these are too thick and stiff for guitar. Perfect for bass, though.
