My favorite pick, and I've tried (almost) everthing. I keep multiple thicknesses on hand. Smaller than a standard 351 size, but bigger than a jazz III. The smaller size and sharp tip makes it great for picking fast, articulate lead lines, but is still big enough to cleanly play rhythm without my fingertips hitting the strings. Has a sharp edge bevel that relases cleanly from the strings. Agressive grip texture keeps the pick where I want it, comprable to dunlop max grip. The nylon material is very durable, and produces a brighter tone than other nylon picks. I only have two small complaints: 1) some of the picks have a sharp spot on the back edge that needs to be sanded off, this is more common on the thicker gauges. 2) nylon is more flexible than other materials, so I would recommend going up a gauge if you're used to other materials. For this reason, I'd really like to see this pick made in sizes heavier than 1.22 mm

I got a 1.08 in a sampler pack and really like playing with it. But I decided this kind of pick would suit me better in a slightly more flexible thickness, so I opted for the .96. It's much more flexible than I'd expected, but it feels quite good. The grip is incredibly strong.

I have used Clayton picks exclusively for almost 10 years, and I love the designs and the fact that I'VE NEVER BROKEN A CLAYTON PICK! But these Frost Byte ones aren't like the other Clayton picks. Out of the packaging, these picks had a rough spot from where they were attached to the mold!! I pricked my finger on the first pick I grabbed! This rough spot is easy to file down with a nail file, or even on concrete, but the fact that they weren't already smoothed out was disturbing. Even after filing it down, I found that the picks just aren't anything like the other Clayton picks. The textured grip is nice, but it doesn't glide on the string like their other acetylene picks do. These feel like a rough, kinda cheap plastic. Maybe if they were smoothed out before they go into packaging, it might help. For now, I will use these as a backup to my backup picks. Or for decoration because they are a cool color.
