Description

The Sheptone Blue Sky PAF Style Humbucker set was designed to emulate the tone of Dickey Betts' Gold Top. Using alnico 4 magnets, this pickup set has a very woody and violin-like tone, smooth while maintaining great clarity.

Sheptone pickups are carefully designed for the best sound through extensive research, winding/re-winding and comparison testing. These pickups produce the same beautiful sound as original "Patent Applied For" pickups at a fraction of the price.

    These are awesome pickups. They deliver the woody and clear (but full and rich) tone you hear in Blue Sky. I think the youtube demos are accurate/give a good idea. I bought directly from Sheptone before they were available elsewhere and I can say that Sheptone has incredible customer service. I am very happy and highly recommend the pickups.

    I bought these direct from Sheptone and he is awesome to work with. Listen to the sound samples/demos on youtube because I think they are pretty accurate. I wanted that woody and clear tone heard in Blue Sky and thse give it. Overall, they are clear with rich harmonic range, and they retain that clarity as you turn up/add gain.

    I put these in my Eastman SB59 and it sounds as good or better than any Gibson Les Paul

    I put a set of these in my gold top Les Paul and it improved the tone amazingly! The sustain is fantastic and they look great as well. I highly recommend them over the stock Gibson pickups.
