Bach

Description

Mega Tone mouthpieces employ more than double the mass of ordinary models to produce the darker sound cherished by many jazz and symphonic players. A slightly larger throat affords less resistance and greater flexibility resulting in warmer, more powerful sound.

I got this because my Bach 7C mouthpiece wasn't cutting it. I'm really happy with my purchase.

Replacing my standard Bach 1 1/2C as I have had declining endurance on the big mouthpiece over the last couple of years. The Megatone 3C has a very dense mass of metal and I can hear a bigger sound resonating from the trumpet. Since it has a slightly smaller diameter though, I have to work on getting my embouchure back for better endurance. Sound is definitely better though.
