The first time I ever bought these reeds, I was fairly impressed with them! I was looking for a better brand than Singin' Dog reeds, as their reeds are very inconsistent in quality, and decided to try these after a friend recommended them to me. I have to say, these reeds are easy to break-in, for the most part, and have a rather nice tone quality as well. Only recently did I have a single non-functional reed from them, but I think that was a result of my negligence of leaving it in water for too long. Otherwise, I would certainly recommend this brand over most other store brands. :)

  • My daugher loves this reed!

Ordered to of these for my high school student who has played bassoon for 5 years. Both were unusable. One had a chip, and the other leaks air out the side. Very disappointed. We ordered these over Christmas break and didn't use them. He opened them the day before his exam, and unfortunately both were unable to be used with good results. Guitar Center was nice to send more. Results pending.
