Zildjian Touchscreen Drummers Gloves Extra Large Black

Description
The Zildjian touchscreen drummers gloves give drummers a comfortable fit that keeps your hands free to naturally play the drums without gaining blisters on the skin, opening up a world of possibilities for drummers wanting to expand their sonic creativity with solid comfort. Made from a breathable nylon and spandex blend with a lambskin palm, your hands stay cool and dry during long playing sessions. The non-slip grip on the palms and fingers provides extra control and security when handling drumsticks as they are tailored to the anatomical specifications of a drummer's hands for maximum comfort and dexterity.
Seamless Touchscreen Control
The conductive fabric patches on the index fingers and thumbs of the Zildjian touchscreen drummers gloves allow drummers to control touchscreen devices with pinpoint accuracy. Easily trigger drum pads, virtual drum software and sound modules by tapping the screen, sliding, swiping and manipulating sounds with multidimensional control. The snug fit helps to ensure consistent contact between your fingers and the touchscreen for lag-free response, while still being comfortable enough for long practice or performance sessions.

Does the job, but a bit pricey.
I bought these to keep my fingers and thumbs from getting blistered and torn open. I'm not a particularly hard, heavy player, but the blisters and subsequent tearing would happen. I got sick and tired of taping them up around the affected areas of my hands, so I thought I'd give these a try. They do the job nicely for that. I have what I consider small hands, but the medium size fits them nicely. The touchscreen feature works off and on, depending on how I touch my phone's screen. They are snug, so you might want to consider upsizing. Also, a bit pricey for "gloves". You pay for the Logo I guess. All in all, they do the job I bought them for.

Disappointing Durability and Design
I am disappointed with the Zildjian Touchscreen Drummer's Gloves. After just six months of use, the leather on the thumbs has worn out completely. The stitching has come undone, and the leather reinforcements on the thumbs are poorly designed in terms of length. This level of wear and tear is unacceptable for a leather glove, especially one made by Zildjian. I expected much better quality and durability from this brand.

I bought the Ahead gloves, they were small, so I took them back to GC & exchanged them for these. big mistake. I opened the package & they were ripped already. do not buy these. durability issues much like everyone is saying. Zildjan makes great cymbals, not gloves.

HOLES FORM A BIT FASTER THAN I WOULD LIKE. THEY ARE A BIT SLIPPERY UNTIL SOME SWEAT FORMS AND THEN THEY GET NICE AND GRIPPY.

For me, I play mostly metal: Tool, Gojira, Godsmack, etc. Hard hitter here. But these allow me to play softer stuff like funk or Pop. I basically get blisters whenever I play extended sets- not anymore! These are perfect. I was not sure I would but -wow! Just get the right size for u!
I definitely recommend this product for any percussionist.

This product allows for a variety of play using different sticks and instruments in mixed weather conditions that any percussionist would benefit from. They also allow for use with phones, screens, and video equipment in comfort and breathing with less sweat for better hand grip. With constant use, they will last about six months. A serious benefit that's worth it.
