I bought these a few weeks ago from Reverb. I'm on a budget, and play in a worship group. These are an outstanding alternative to higher priced Zildjian packs. They are dark and dry mix well. Love them!

I've had these cymbals for just over a year. Love the look and the sound. The crashes are low pitched and took a little getting used to. But I like the short sustain. I highly recommend!!

  • I would test them at a music store before buying

I watched dozens of video clips of these cymbals before pulling the trigger on em, I was gonna go with a set of byzance cause I really love the modern "dry" sound. These look and sound amazing in every video clip and review footage I watched, and are half the price as a set of byzance dry's! So I went for it! The hats and ride sound identical to the sound in the demo videos, love em! But the crash's don't sound ANYTHING like they do in the videos! They just sound like different pitch chinas with a very gong like overtone! Much lower pitched than this demo video suggests! And Very trashcanny! the different pitch's are very dissonant and dont compliment each other in pitch like they they do in this demo video! Hi hat and ride sound are great, but the crashes are very disappointing and misleading, compared to their sound in the demo videos

The cymbals are awesome, but my only critique would be a bit more sustain in the cymbals. Maybe less dimples to allow a bit more tonal groove to ring. Other wise awesome.
