Zildjian L80 Low Volume Cymbals

collapse expand iconDescription

The Zildjian L80 Series LV468 Low Volume Cymbal Pack, a revolutionary set of cymbals that provide an authentic playing experience at a fraction of the volume. Zildjian, the world's leading cymbal maker, has developed an innovative perforated pattern and proprietary alloy to reduce volume by up to 80 percent compared to a traditional cymbal. The Zildjian L80s allow drummers to practice and perform whenever and wherever they want without disturbing others. The LV468 Pack includes 14" hi-hats, 16" crash and 20" ride cymbals so you have a complete, low-volume set up.

Practice Day or Night With Near-Silent Cymbals

The Zildjian L80s are the solution for drummers who want to practice at any hour without annoying neighbors or housemates. Their low volume allows for jam sessions well into the evening, and the full tone and response means you can play as vigorously as you want. The L80s also make great cymbals for teaching studios, worship bands and other settings where volume control is important.

Authentic Zildjian Sound and Feel

While the Zildjian L80 cymbals are much quieter than traditional cymbals, Zildjian's innovative perforated pattern and alloy maintain the brand's signature sound quality and playability. The L80s have a natural, musical tone with a full decay, and they respond dynamically to different sticking techniques and playing intensities just like regular cymbals. The matte finish and specialized grooves absorb excess overtones and high frequencies, reducing volume without compromising tone.

Complete Set for Gigs or Practice

The LV468 Cymbal Pack provides a full set of low-volume cymbals so you have everything you need for a quiet practice session or low-key gig. It includes 14" hi-hats for a range of articulations, a 16" crash cymbal for accents and a 20" ride cymbal that provides a defined ping and wash. Although more affordable than buying cymbals individually, the pack does not skimp on quality or sound.

Convenient and Portable

Zildjian L80 cymbals have a lightweight, low-profile design that makes them easy to carry and set up. They work with any standard cymbal stand and require no special mounts or dampening pads. The L80s are also more compact than traditional cymbals, so they are ideal if you have limited space.
