Zildjian is my bag!

Zildjian just never lets up on the quality! I have seen many cymbal bags, Zildjian and not, and this is by far the best looking and best equipped bag that I've seen and used! It not only looks nice and durable, but it is!! And with the backpack-like straps, it allows you to carry them without being a hassle at all. I loved it instantly and I'm sure you'll love it too!!

Highly Disappointed in this Bag

I am very disappointed in this bag. I was very excited to get this bag as it was supposed to help alleviate some of the issues I ran into when transporting my cymbals. This was the case for maybe a few months. I wore it on my back with the backpack straps, I hung my stick bag from the hook. It was great. If it did that the full life of the bag (whatever that's supposed to be) I would be greatly appreciative of this. Instead, the straps became less and less useful, beginning to tear away, the hook started pulling and tearing right above that spot. Those were things I was willing to just forget about. Unfortunately, the last straw for me was when the bottom started ripping through. Now you can pretty much see my cymbals peeking through the bottom of the bag. This clearly is an issue when transporting. I carry a high hat clutch in the front accessories pocket, my 12" A Custom Hats and my 10" Hybrid K Splash in the front pocket, my 20" Hybrid K Ride, 19" Hybrid K Crash, 2 16" K Custom Fast Crashes and a 14" K Custom Fast Crash in the main compartment. I wouldn't consider this to be too much to carry in the bag but someone please tell me otherwise and I will immediately change my tune. Consistently, I simply play one or twice a week at church, occassionally going out on a week long mini tour (maybe 6 or 7 times a year). I imagine this bag should be able to hold up under these circumstances and it simply hasn't. Now, less than a year after getting this bag, I am forced to get something else in order to propoerly protect the cymbals I've invested so much in. I am probably done with soft bags/cases, more than likely giving a try to the new Zildjian Hard Shell Z case but again, highly disappointed in this bag. Not only would I not recommend this bag to a friend, I'd probably provide them the difference in price to NOT get this bag and take a few steps up to something more durable.

Glad to have a much better product to carry my cymbals in than the 40 year old box that has been falling apart! It holds all the different sizes and shapes in separate pockets with room to spare. Easier to carry to a gig also, it has straps to carry it on your back, if needed!

  • Ideal carrying bag for cymbals

I love this cymbals bag for carrying my equipment. I was able to get all of the cymbals inside without difficulty. The backpack feature is great to free up your hands to carry other items for less trips to the vehicle.

  • Terrible quality

All three that were in stock had rips and tears. For some reason the employees kept returning them to the shelf as I retuned the items. Seems like GC should send back defective items.

  • Excellent for carrying cymbals without damaging them.

Loyal to Zildjians for 40 years. This bag is not durable. I replaced the first one after 9 months, straps came un- sewn, zippers broke, bottom split exposing cymbals. Love the logo so bought another one, same issues within a year. I pack a 22 ping ride, 16 fast crash, sometimes an 18, and 14 high hats, all Zildjian A's. I play jazz and swing band, some cover band work and jams. Not a gorilla drummer. I do not recommend this bag.
