We got this for our son who takes lessons, and I hoped it would reignite my own playing...and it has. The sound & touch is amazing. Haven't discovered all the special features yet, but have found the built-in metronome to be useful. Guitar Center was the only online vendor that made it easy for me to know that I was getting the bench with this order. Very, very pleased with the piano and would highly recommend it.

This is an excellent piece of equipment, a beautiful piece of furniture, and a perfect alternative to an acoustic piano if your home does not permit the space. It looks, feels, and sounds like a grand piano but looks like a smaller upright piano. Customer is completely satisfied!

When I first started looking at digital pianos, I wanted one with great action. I sure found it. The YDP-223 is everything I was looking for at a great price. I've played digitals costing a whole lot more that fell far short of this model. Yamaha hit it out of the park! I'ts a real pleasure to play this fine instrument.

I actually own a stripped version of this called the P120 which we purchased back in 2002. The only difference is they made it look more like a piano but the features are totally the same. It's an excellent keyboard because it's cheap, it feels like a real piano and never needs tuning.

Owned the Yamaha for about 18 months as it plays beautifully with simple controls and first class piano sound reproduction which is what this digital piano is all about. It is apparently the same as the higher priced "Clavinova" series and is sold under the straight Yamaha name for marketing reasons. Bought it to use in the UK where prices are much higher.
