Description
The YC73 73-Key Organ Stage Keyboard combines authentic organ sounds with modern features ideal for live playing. This full-sized keyboard is packed with nine realistic organ sounds, including tonewheel, transistor, pipe organ voices, as well as piano, synth, and ensemble sounds. With 73 semi-weighted keys, the YC73 provides a balanced playing feel for organ technique and piano-style playing. Powerful features like real-time controls, an intuitive user interface, and advanced connectivity options give you full command over your sound during performance. Whether you're playing jazz, rock, worship, or pop music, the YC73 is a gig-ready keyboard that delivers iconic organ tones and modern sound-shaping tools.
Authentic Tonewheel, Pipe, and Transistor Organ Sounds
The YC73 features Yamaha's acclaimed Virtual Circuitry Modeling technology to capture the nuanced tones of vintage tonewheel, pipe, and transistor organs with stunning realism. Select from tones modeled on the Hammond B3, C3, and M3, as well as pipe and transistor organs. Adjustable overdrive, percussion, key click, and rotary speaker effects provide full sonic control.
Semi-Weighted Keys and Organ Playing Modes
With 73 semi-weighted keys, the YC73 offers balanced playability for organ technique and piano playing. Two organ playing modes—upper and lower—split the keyboard to facilitate bass lines and chords in the left hand and melody in the right. The lower manual mode even provides an adjustable split point.
Advanced Real-Time Controls
Nine assignable sliders, six buttons, and a modulation wheel put expressive control at your fingertips. Assign the drawbars, rotary speed, overdrive, reverb, and other effects to the sliders and buttons. The modulation wheel controls rotary speed or other effects. Save your assignments to two user presets for instant recall during performances.
Intuitive Interface and Connectivity
An easy-to-read LCD display and dedicated buttons make navigating the YC73's features simple. USB to Host and MIDI I/O ports offer connectivity to computers, tablets, and other gear. The YC73 runs on AC power or batteries for portability.

The YC73 is the perfect keyboard for high quality vintage keys sounds, great action, but still portable enough for gigging. I was looking to upgrade from my 18-year old Nord Electro 2. The Yamaha has better rhodes and wurlitzer sounds than even the newest Nords, I think, and comparable piano and organ sounds. It's a big step up from my old Nord which had weak Rhodes sounds and just one unusable acoustic piano sound. The YC73 has a great intuitive layout making it easy to activate sound layers and effects. The other instrument and synth sounds seem great too and I haven't had time to explore those yet. I'm very happy with the new board so far and think it will be my mainstay for the next 18 years!

Solid Build. Excellent key bed. Lush sounds. Analog layout. Great for live use when needing to tweek sounds. 1k cheeper on a comparable Nord, not sure why, but thankful it is. Yamaha did good on this one.
