I love these sounds. very impressive for the price. I also love the way the sustain function gives the sounds a longer sustain but does not cause wind instruments to ring out forever. This makes the sounds a whole lot more useful in recording. And ya I would record with this stuff and even run it through my Helix effects processor. The guitar feedback and harmonic patches are really cool. nice organ style key action.

I bought this little Yamaha for a friend who needs an easy-to-use portable keyboard, and his little son will be able to get good use from it in the not-too-far-off future when his little hands get big enough for full-sized keys. Excellent sound! ...and almost TOO many features. Cool extra sound-banks too (dog's barks, car starting, great drum sets). Highly recommend it. It is VERY light but seems sturdy. Comes with a power supply and music stand. If you buy one, consider a gig bag for it.
