On the road with me

My business that I am in sometimes puts me on the road for months at a time. I have a Yamaha Clavinova at home along with other electronic gear. I love to play for fun now and this keyboard gives me a chance to take this on the road with me and not the worry of having a very expensive piece of equipment in a hotel room. This however does not take away from the quality of this instrument. It is enjoyable and functional. The only thing it lacks is the action feel of a regualar piano like my Clavinova has, but at this price this instrument is great. I could see it being used by beginners as well as seasoned players for it's portability and also it's features that you find in much more expensive keyboards. So, sit back explore and release the creative juices that my be hidden in your mind.

It has so many features, that I don't know what to do with them. I especially like the touch sensitivity because it lets you do crescendos, etc. with it. I don't know why people are complaining about the loudness, because its loud enough for me. The chord dictionary comes in handy also, I just wish it had the scales too.

I purchased this keyboard as it is a Yamaha and most bands have one. Not exactly like this one, but the cost on this is incredible. Has a variety of effects and many other awesome sounds etc.....Still learning all that it has to offer. Grandkids love to play on it and I am learning quickly and love the sounds. Great keyboard for anyone wanting to learn or to add to your garage band. Love it! Don't pass this one up.

this keyboard is great. their are many different kits to play and give you a huge variety of notes, it was worth all the money in more. Although it doesn't come with an A/C Adapter. But it was a great buy its touch sensitive and the LCD Screen is very clear. Making it fun and easy to play and learn, along with recording ur own song.

I love my new Yamaha keyboard. I bought it to learn to play the piano. It's a great value. Has lots and lots of features. I read reviews on Casio's and Yamaha's and I know that lots of musicians use Yamaha's so I figured they have to make a good product or professional musicians would not be using them. That was the selling point for me, as well as the price and the quality of the instrument. I almost bought a smaller keyboard with less features, and I'm so glad I didn't. Would highly recommend this product.
Good for Beginners

I've had this keyboard for several years and I've worn it out! It's a really great keyboard for the price, and a great way to "get your foot in the door" where accompaniment is concerned. I play music in my community and really have enjoyed taking this very portable keyboard with me to Nursing Homes, to perform for local residents. It sounds great with a mixer/amp and is so easy to use. My only complaint would be that it's a little confusing trying to record an arrangement with only 2 tracks. If you mess up, you have to start all over. You are also not able to begin your recording with only drums because as soon as you touch a key, the accompaniment begins. There's no room for a "home-made" intro. Other than that, it's a really good little keyboard. Great for starters. Also really fun sound effects. It's been a blast to use. If you play "solo" and want your own accompaniment that's easy to use, this is for you!
