Description

The Yamaha MOTIF Es Rack Module has a proprietary sound chip that includes expanded polyphony (128 notes), and effects (4 inserts in mix mode). The core voices are identical to MOTIF plus 2 additional preset voice banks and 256 user editable voices (twice the user area of MOTIF). MOTIF voices can be loaded directly into the rack via MIDI. Newly developed reverb algorithm. In 16-part multitimbral mode up to 4 voices can have their insertion effects enabled simultaneously, and each of the 16 parts has it's own 3-band EQ.

    What a GREAT machine this is! There are more than enough sounds to keep you busy for a while and they all sound great! The drums hit REALLY hard...for the price, nothing can beat it....

    It's pretty hard to believe something that small has such power and realisticness! It's a great add on to any type of music, heck, it's the whole band right in it! I, personally, love it! Great machine, good price.

  • Motif rack vs triton

    I have owned both the motif rack as well as the triton board and must say that the motif sound quality is much superior to the triton. There is a handful of sounds that the triton couldnt touch, especially the electric keys and strings. Not to mention that the drums hit like crazy.
