Yamaha
Description
Yamaha L-Series, like this LS6M A.R.E., offers the perfect combination of traditional and modern: a warm, balanced tone that fits perfectly into a solo performance or mix; timeless good looks inspired by Yamaha’s 50 years of guitar crafting; instant played-in comfort; stage-ready performance as standard with Yamaha’s Zero Impact pickup system.

The LS6M A.R.E. features a hand-selected premium solid Engelmann spruce top and mahogany back and sides. This variation gives powerful low-mid and more open sound. The LS6M A.R.E. was built with a modified non-scalloped bracing design which retains the L Series' characteristic bright tone while enhancing low-end tone. The high comfortable traditional neck profile provides stable grip and smooth playability over the full length of the neck. Speaking of the neck, it's a 5-ply neck composed of mahogany and rosewood with double-action adjustable rod for a stronger, more stable neck.

A.R.E Acoustic Resonance Enhancement
As its name suggests, the LS6M ARE acoustic comes with Yamaha's A.R.E. original reforming technology. Through precise controll of temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure, the molecular properties of the wood can be manipulated into a more acoustically ideal condition, similar to the molecular characteristics of woods in instruments that have been played for years.

SRT Zero Impact Pickup
This system is a newly developed passive type pickup configuration designed to minimize the pickup’s impact on the tone and traditional appearance of the instrument. The system utilizes individual piezo-electric elements for each string to faithfully reproduce the dynamic sound of the L Series and give the instrument outstanding presence when playing in a band.

I love Yamaha's but rookies don't have a clue. They think Yamaha can do no wrong. They are very much mistaken with the chinese made yamaha's ! (Japanese made are usually fine) I returned this guitar to GC because the neck was the worst I've seen in 30 years. Some frets were close to .015 high....I don't think they leveled them or the fingerboard at the factory. I bought a LL16 from the same GC....I knew it had a high action but the guitar had the sound of a 5K dollar guitar so I bought it....I only did that because I could refret it myself and it cost me 25.00. It had a hump at the 14th fret....I refretted with stainless frets and it's a monster but!!! It would have cost you about 600.00 to fix it!

Aw some guitar. Looks beautiful. Sounds beautiful. Plays wonderful. Has a nice bell chime ring with the highs with complementing full but not boomy lows. This guitar shines the most as a light playing or fingerpicking guitar. Still great for strumming chords but I love the ring when fingerpicking. Inside the guitar has perfectly cut and sanded bracing. Looks and feels and sounds like a top of the line guitar
