  • YAMAHA FS850 an easy decision

Been looking for a replacement for my trusty and beat up Yamaha FG Dreadnought from the 1980s. Took me all of 60 seconds to decide on the FS850. Yamaha quality and playability as you'd expect. Bombproof tuning pegs (I'm an intermediate amateur alternate tuning fingerpicker). The Dreadnought finally retired...and when side by side looking very old indeed...although the Yamaha headstock design has changed little over the 40 years in between...a beauty!

This is a spectacular instrument with a warm, unique sound. I have owned several high-end instruments, and this is right up there with them. It is not a loud instrument and is better suited for soft strumming and fingerpicking the than hard strumming

Does this have 1 or 2 strap pins? I'm looking at the picture of this guitar on the yamaha website and it shows that it has two pins. One pin is where the neck meets the body and the other pin is at the bottom of the guitar. However, the picture on Guitar Center only shows one pin.

The FS850 has one strap button.
