She is my first, and currently only, guitar. Bought at guitar center for like $50 used, because it was warped near the lower body of the guitar. This warp actually made a closer action to the fret, making it play closer to an electric style guitar. She's one of a kind, and I'll never let her go.😍

I bought this guitar 2 months ago for my first guitar. I also bought an F Series Jr for my daughter as her first guitar. they're both terrific. This guitar, the F345SY sounds deep, warm and inviting. I played several more expensive guitars before purchasing and there was no appreciable improvement in sound to just dollars in additional cost. It's a complete winner!

This guitar outshines just about every other acoustic I've ever heard. The deep richness is something you actually feel in the tone as you play the lower notes. The treble isn't shrill and mismatched with the bass like many other acousics. In addition to the incredible tonality, the playability and ease of handling make this guitar one of my prized possessions; worth far more than the asking price here.

first of all, you haven't really seen it until you've seen it in person. its got beautiful wood, and you can see the lines of it. beautiful finish, and the picture doesnt do the red tortoise shell pickguard justice. it's so pretty that i didn't get a natural guitar and went the extra money for this more attractive, intense look and it was SO worth it. second, the sound is beyond great. i dont know if it's a solid top, but it doesnt matter because it sounds so good as it is. it has a really rich, deep, full sound when i'm strumming, and when i'm picking, the notes ring clear, high and sweet. this was my first guitar, and it's probably the best beginner's guitar out there. it has a surprisingly full sound, and an incredibly beautiful look. yamaha brought the world yet another perfect, inexpensive guitar.

I checked other guitars in this price range, like Epiphone, Takimine, Ibinez, Mitchell and a couple others and they had nothing that came close to the Yamaha 345. The workmanship is very good and the string action is the low and plays like butter. The only knock and it is only a slight knock is that it is a slimmer model which cuts down a little on the volume it puts out. But it still sounds really nice with good tones and again plays easier than anything I tried out. I would recommend the Yamaha 345 to anyone. Very nice guitar!
