Description
The Yamaha DXS15XLF powered subwoofer is perfect for DJs and touring pros. The DXS15XLF delivers deep bass, thanks to its 15” woofer and 1,600W peak onboard amplifier. With low-end response down to 33Hz, this sub provides the kind of tight bass not normally found in this class.
Yamaha’s DXS15XLF subwoofer features a cabinet with a bass-reflex design. It has a wide, flared port to ensure outstanding clarity at any volume. The DXS15XLF is also driven by a 96kHz high power DSP processor.
Yamaha’s D-XSUB low-frequency processing gives you full control of your bass. The subwoofer’s rear panel lets you select from Normal, Boost and Xtended LF settings.
Usually, the higher the output, the more difficult it is to manage bass. Significant sound pressure levels can build up on stage. This can really sabotage your monitoring. But using two or more DXS15LF subwoofers in Cardioid Mode decreases the sound pressure on stage. Meanwhile, it also increases the bass output directed towards the audience.
The Yamaha DXS15XLF powered subwoofer is built tough. Its cabinet features rugged wooden construction. For more durability Yamaha added Polyurea coating. This added layer is highly resistant to damage, such as scratches and bumps. Rest assured, the DXS15XLF powered subwoofer is made to stand up to life on the road.
