Yamaha
Description
This beautiful classical guitar from Yamaha has classic features you'd find on expensive classical guitar models, yet is offered at a surprisingly low price.

The full-size classical body gives lots of bold tone balanced from lows to highs, with a slight emphasis on the mid-range that enhances punch. The result is a classical guitar with plenty of projection to fill a small room with the soft, intimate sound of a nylon-string classical guitar.

The top features solid European spruce, a wood that emits full, balanced tone recommended for rhythmic chording and fingerpicking. The nato neck, and rosewood back and sides provide the force behind this classical guitar's tone, bringing out the deep sound of nylon strings. The rosewood bridge and ebony fretboard add crisp sustain and clarity to your chords.

Dressed in a gloss finish, and featuring a mosaic-design rosette, gold hardware and white mother-of-pearl peg tuners, the Yamaha CG182S guitar embodies the appearance of the classical guitar, yet is priced for anyone to own.

Drawing upon the vast knowledge, know-how and techniques of its master craftsmen, Yamaha developed the Concert series to deliver the best tone and performance from a classical guitar. With slightly thinner back and sides and Yamaha's trademark thin finish these classical guitars deliver better sound response. To increase playability the Yamaha guitar neck was slightly thinned and also, made slightly lighter in weight. The result is a classical guitar with outstanding tone and exceptional quality. It's built from the ground up for durability and performance. Case sold separately.

The Yamaha CG182S classical guitar is great! I have only borrowed this instrument from my guitar instructor and I can safety say that this is a wonderful instrument. This guitar combines affordability with quality and is very good for any classical guitarist. I really enjoy the tone delivered from the spruce top and rosewood back and sides along with the smooth and relaxed feel of the ebony fingerboard. All together this is a nice instrument however, this specific model does not come with electronics or real inlays. The guitars neck is also NATO wood which is used usually as a cheaper substitute to mahogany wood (but since its the neck of the guitar I don't believe it affects the tone of the instrument). Anyways, I think that this guitar is a great buy and I would defiantly recommend it to a friend or family member.

What is the specific nature of the "blemish," and in what year was this guitar built? Thank you!!!!

Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing what the blemish is. However, it would only be a minor cosmetic flaw and would not affect the guitars play ability. I don't know when it was built
