Yamaha AC5M A-Series Concert Acoustic-Electric Guitar Vintage Natural

Description
Comfortable Neck Profile
Research with players, luthiers and guitar techs has given A-Series the feel and playability that today’s acoustic-electric players want, whether switching from electric to acoustic on stage, recording a session with intricate open tunings, or practicing at home. The AC5M A-Series Concert features a straighter neck taper for easier high-fret playing, and hand-rolled fingerboard edges to achieve a played-in feel. A-Series guitars are equipped with Elixir NANOWEB 80/20 Bronze Light strings to deliver a lively tone together with extended tone life that players have come to expect from Elixir Strings.
Simple and Distinctive Looks
The simple, organic design of the Yamaha Guitars' AC5M A-Series features wood binding and other techniques that capture the warmth of wood. The distinctive shape of the pickguard, which stands out when performing, is a revival of the N1000 guitar that Yamaha released in 1975.
Premium Grade
Made in Japan, the ACM guitars are the flagship model in Yamaha A-series featuring Gotoh's renowned open-gear tuners, high-quality binding on the head, TUSQ nut and saddle, and much more.

Out-of-the-box, the playability of the AC5M is fully equal to my Taylor 414. The "torrefied" spruce top provides a level of responsiveness that is well suited for fingerpicking. The build quality is excellent.

I played every guitar in every store in my area . They only had AC3R that were great sounding and played as good or better than instrument costing 3x as much. Balance response clean articulation Read all the review on internet and decided to get the AC5M sight unseen. The only problem is that the wiring harness is lose inside the body I have no idea where these should be placed.(I could use a little help here GC) A great guitar ( Yamaha Custom shop Japan Build ) Much more attention to details Than the AC3R. Nut cut so at the 1st frets the not wasn't a semi tone sharp. Both e string were inline to the edge of the fret board, The neck was True and did shift when I put a lighter set of strings ( the 12's seemed stiff especially on the D &A string. There is still addressing the action at the bridge to taste after the string change that you'll need to do. I don't really care for the placement of the strap button on the neck.
