    Ball and socket gives u more flexibility for set up. Stand is extra heavyduty.

    I use this stand with my 80's Yamaha Recording Custom Kit. I play fast loud rock and my snare takes a beating. This stand supports my snare safe and sound and never wobbles or rocks. Its heavy duty and a breeze to break down after a show. I love Yamaha drums, and I love this stand! Works great as a rack tom holder as well!
