The Xvive U3D Wireless Microphone System is designed primarily to transmit microphone-level signals, not line-level signals. However, the "mic/line" switch you're referring to allows for some flexibility. Here's what you need to know: When to use the Line level setting: If you're sending a signal from a mixer’s output (like XLR out or aux out) into the Xvive U3D transmitter, set the Xvive to "Line". This setting attenuates the input signal so it doesn't overload the transmitter's input, since line level is much hotter than mic level. Important considerations: Make sure the mixer output you're using is balanced XLR or at least compatible with what the Xvive expects. If the output is +4 dBu professional line level, and you're using the Line setting on the Xvive, you're good. Do not use the Mic setting when feeding it a line-level signal from a mixer—it may cause distortion or even damage. 🔊 On the speaker input: If you're going wirelessly to a powered speaker with an XLR input, the Xvive U3D receiver will output a mic-level signal, even when the transmitter is set to “Line.” You may need to adjust the gain or sensitivity on the speaker accordingly. Summary: Yes, you can use the Line level setting on the Xvive U3D transmitter when connecting a mixer output to the Xvive system. Just be mindful that the receiver still outputs mic level, so you may need to tweak your speaker’s input gain.
