X8 Drums Ramadan Professional Djembe, Large
Description
Crafted to perfection by master woodworkers, these drums are made from legally-harvested and certified mahogany, goatskin and rope for an authentic feel and sound. The carvings on this drum represent "Mframadan," an African symbol for fortitude and readiness to face life's challenges. The high-quality blue rope runners allow for optimal tuning and serve as a bold accent to compliment the carving.
Because these djembes are each carved by hand and therefore unique, their sizes will fluctuate slightly. The small, medium and large models of the Ramadan Pro average 10x20, 12x24 and 14x26, respectively.

This little djembe is beautiful. The skin is thin, as it is goat. We retied the djembe and tightened it up, although it played and sounded great right from receiving the package. The bass tone for this little guy is tremendous. The highs pop, and can definitely be heard over other drums. I use this at drum circles. I have about six other djembes, all 12" and bigger. I've never had a smaller guy, and this is of my favorite. I will treasure this drum forever. Worth the money in my opinion, plus buy the 3 year warranty. Just in case that head pops you can get it redone for free. I've had it a few months now and drum on it every week and it's help up. I will try to edit this comment later with a review of a video of me playing so you can hear the tones. If you're on the fence, just buy it.
