Creates a low hum when using Karaoke apps and volume level control is almost nonexistent.

I plugged this in to my Bose Speakers system and the sound is loud and clear. I use my Ipad for the bluetooth and pulled up Karaoke songs from Youtube. It is great for the price I've paid.

Can I use this on my surround system, 4K tv that's attached to my pioneer receiver?

    Open Reply - Gear-Head
This doesn't have Karaoke program with it. So if you can install a karaoke app onto your tv, this should work. Though, we don't recommend having the audio go through your TV.
