VocoPro CDG-9000PRO Professional Dual CD and CDG Player

I purchased this brand new and made the mistake of using it on a gig before giving it a test run. Out of the box it skipped on CD's in mint condintion, it wouldn't read custom discs...I could go on and on, but the point is that you would be better off not wasting your time or money purchasing this peice of (insert your explative here)! This may have lost me future jobs and hopefully it doesn't ruin my future rep.

I replaced two of these units in one month, the right side did not read the cd's I'm on my third unit right now, i've had it for one week, both sides are reading at this time. If this unit works the way it should, it would be a 4 or 5 star. Lets see what happens, and how long this unit will last. As far as the staff at guitar center in Danvers, ma, they are a 5 star team. They went out of there way, to get these units replaced a.s.a.p. Thanks Guys. RB

I have had to have this unit replaced 4 times in one month. There is a major defect in these units. They play for a few days and then stop reading discs all together. Vocopro replaces it, but the same thing happens over and over. On my fourth unit only one tray would open and after a few days it stopped reading discs. This is an overpriced piece of junk. CUSTOMER BEWARE

This is absolutely a great piece of equipment. I especially like the number keypad and it will also play cd/mp3. The dual drawer makes keeping up with high volume of singers a breeze as you can have your next singer loaded and ready. One thing worth mentioning is if you use a single t.v. you need an "A" "B" switch otherwise if you run both players it will try to put both songs on the tv at once. Granted it is a little pricy, if you run a lot of high volume Karaoke shows it is well worth the bucks.
