Description

This VHT Tube Tester 2 includes two standard 8-pin octal-base adapters with dual banana plugs. Adapters accept all popular octal-base output tube types (6V6, 6L6, EL34, KT66, KT77, KT88, 6550, etc.).

Readouts come via two high-quality 3" diameter metal and glass analog milliamp meters (100mA max). And it includes additional test-pin jacks for external digital multimeter connection. Requires no external power.

    The quality is nice. It looks good enough to leave hooked up permanently...but why on earth would you do that?

    This is a great tool for setting your Bias on Push Pull amplifiers... The secondary contact points allowed me to measure my setting via a Fluke meter to ensure accuracy. Well built and nicely finished too..

    I use this as it is described, it does a great job of biasing any tube amp, it would be perfect if it also gave a value for plate voltage, but that can be easily checked with a regular multi meter. The unit itself is very solid with a metal housing and old school gauges are very easy to read for tube Millivolts.

    Hi -- I need a tube tester for amp and pre-amp tubes, kt-88 and 12 ax7 and at 7. Will your model av-tt-tt2 or another product do the job?
