The Universal Audio UAFX Ruby '63 top boost amplifier effects pedal delivers the inspiring tones of a vintage 2x12 tube combo amp and more. Built on powerful dual-engine processing and UAD modeling, Ruby '63 gives you Normal, Brilliant and Vibrato channels—all in a rugged pedalboard-friendly stompbox. Whether replacing your amp rig live or recording tracks in the studio, Ruby '63 lets you fly from mellow to chime to grind with the flip of a switch.

Three Iconic Amplifier Channels

Ruby '63 is the only stompbox that provides the Normal, Brilliant and Vibrato channels that defined the British Invasion. From the clean headroom of Normal to the complex overdrive of Brilliant, to the pitch modulation of Vibrato, Ruby '63 lets you conjure any era of British rock with ease.

Vintage Boosts On Demand

Ruby '63 packs prized British boosts right onboard. Namely, the legendary '60s Dallas Rangemaster germanium treble booster and the preamp of a '70s Maestro EP-3 tape delay. Just flip the Boost switch for layered lead tones that leave IR-based modelers wanting.

Tailor Your Tone With Legendary Speakers

With built-in mic and speaker pairings from Universal Audio's award-winning OX Amp Top Box, Ruby '63 lets you tailor your classic Brit amp tones. Choose from three speaker cabs—silver, blue and green with the Ruby '63.

Customize Your Sound With the UAFX App

Ruby '63 really comes alive with the UAFX Control mobile app. Download custom artist tones, save and recall your presets, and dive deeper into the amp that powered British rock royalty.

This thing does a really good job emulating the AC30. It gives you different speaker options to choose from, and different mods that are typically with an AC30. I use the silver and greenbacks on the brilliant channel and it sounds really good. It takes pedals incredibly well. My favorite amp simulator out

With the 4 line hookup, you seem to be able to bypass the regular amplifier's pre-amp and go directly to the power amp using the amp's effects loop. 2 part question about this.
1: when you turn off with the footswitch, it goes back to the normal amp input , correct? (that is the way it seems)
2: once you are back to the main pre-amp, do other effects that you might connect after the ruby still effect the sound?
For instance, when on, it might go overdrive-->ruby-->chorus-->power amp.
When off, does that config go overdrive-->ruby-->preamp-->ruby again-->chorus-->power amp?

No. A pedal won't power an amp. This needs a little bit of discussion. Please give us a call 855 770 3373
