The BIONIC Series Heavy Ride cymbal delivers a modern, powerful sound that's bright and very well-defined. It's handcrafted using UFIP's Rotocasting® technique, and the cast bronze B20 alloy is deeply hammered in strategic points for pleasing overtones, excellent sustain.     I returned the 21" heavy. It's a bit dark and not a good ride for swing. I should have gone with the 22" medium. Cymbals esp rides need to be tested in person. They are more personal than crash cymbals.
