Lightweight, Stackable Shell

The Sympatico Djembe's PVC shell weighs less than half of a traditional wood djembe, making it easy to transport and play. Despite its lightweight build, the shell projects a wide range of pitches. You can stack multiple Sympatico Djembes together for storage and transport. Their nesting design allows you to carry an entire set of different-sized djembes in one trip.

Tunable Fiber Head

While most lightweight djembes come with non-tunable drumheads, the Sympatico Djembe gives you full tuning control over its synthetic fiber drumhead. Toca's Sympatico System allows you to tension the head to your desired pitch using an internal tuning mechanism. You get the portability of a compact djembe paired with the tonal versatility of a fully tunable drum. The fiber material also provides balanced attack and full tone with minimal muffling.
