For the money this is a very nice djembe bag. I have used the shoulder straps to carry my drum around. It is not a professional level case, but it is not advertised as such either. The outside is soft, which is nice to the touch, but probably not super durable forever. I do think this bag will last quite a while though if you don't mistreat it, it is made well. The inside is not super soft, it is nylon (?) lined for drum protection and keeping out the elements etc. I'm not certain if this product is supposed to be waterproof or not. Very nice product, decent construction, and easy to use. I'm happy with this bag.

I ordered this for basic carrying protection, and liked the fact that it came with a playing harness. When I opened the box, I thought the bag was inside out, as the outside was a soft cotton like material, and the inside was black plastic like nylon. Unfortunately it was not, and this seems very odd. The inside probably won't scratch my djembe (the 10" bag just fit my Sageman 10"), but I fear the soft outside will get dirty pretty quick and won't stand up. The shoulder straps also seem wrong, as the soft material is on the wrong side. Same for the harness. I plan to return this for a more "normal" one.

Bag is light weight and I bought a 13" for my 14" drum and it easily fit. It has a nylon internal with a cotton (Or?) external material and pocket - which barely fits the strap. Good zipper. The bag will do the job but is not cushioned much. Good deal for the price.
