    :( I broke the G string tuning it. Also the G string was too big to fit (much bigger than my last G string [not from this brand]) and I had to make the slot near the fine tuners larger with a knife to get it in. Then it broke any way. So I was kinda bummed. Gonna spend the extra money and get another pack of more expensive strings.

    My search for affordable synthetic cores strings to put on my violin ended when I found these. I am a long time guitarist learning to play the violin on a student model. I didn't want to string it with $85 strings when the violin was $100 when I bought it, and I don't care for the sound of steel core strings. So for $10.99 I may have gotten the best deal on the planet and they improved the sound of my instrument tremendously!
