Description

The OP-1 field portable synthesizer from Teenage Engineering is a revolutionary device that puts a fully-featured recording studio in the palm of your hands. This ultraportable synth features a low-profile yet rugged aluminum chassis and a 24-hour rechargeable battery, allowing you to create music anywhere your inspiration strikes.

Take Your Music Anywhere

The OP-1 field is ideal for making music on the go. It offers built-in speakers, a headphone output and multiple ways to connect to external gear, from Bluetooth MIDI to USB-C, 1/4" line in/out and more. The internal lithium-ion battery provides up to 24 hours of portable operation per charge so you can compose for extended periods without needing an outlet.

The OP-1 field features an updated high-resolution display with a flush glass cover, allowing for a vivid and seamless user experience. All graphics and menus have been meticulously reworked to take full advantage of the display. A redesigned keyboard, knobs and button layout provide an intuitive way to access the synth's deep functionality.

Robust Sonic Capabilities

This portable synth offers multiple recording formats, synth engines and sampling options for an array of musical possibilities. Choose from different tape types to capture loops, sequences and full tracks. The "dimension" synth engine provides a rich palette of sounds. Sample from the built-in FM radio or line input, and manipulate your samples in creative ways using the synth's effects and sequencers.

    it's expensive. so are guitars. i use it as much as a guitar. Wish TE would update it more, I want full control of the OP-1 via midi. I also want an easier way to create sample chains from TE via an application. But i won't ever get rid of my OP-1 as is. its peak modern DAWless music
