Takamine

Description

The GN30CE is a stage-worthy acoustic/electric guitar that features solid-top construction, superior-sounding Takamine electronics and the compact but big-sounding NEX body style with a soft Venetian-style cutaway.

The GN30CE' comfortable body features a solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides that produce a rich, resonant sound. The slim mahogany neck and 12-radius rosewood fingerboard provide great feel and playability, while the onboard Takamine TP-4TD preamp system gives you a built-in tuner with three-band EQ and gain controls for excellent amplified performance and versatility.

Other great features include a pin-less rosewood bridge, synthetic bone nut and split bridge saddle, rosewood headcap, pearloid rosette and dot inlays, chrome die-cast tuner and a beautiful gloss finish. Case sold separately.

This is a great guitar. Beautiful range of sound, extremely well made and fantastic finish. Delivery was very prompt from Guitar Center The only reason I did not rate it a 5 is because the action from the factory was extremely high. I don't understand the reasoning fir that but had to pay to have it lowered by over 2 cm.

  • Great service at the Guitar Center to select this guitar.

Takamine should tell the buyer about setting up the saddle. Mine was sanded down close to 2 cm and the action is very good now.
