Class-D Amplifier Technology Provides 200W in a Tiny Package

The BAM200 harnesses modern Class-D amplifier technology to generate a thunderous 200W of crystal-clear bass tone. Advanced switching amplification enables the compact chassis design, making the BAM200 incredibly lightweight and portable. Take it to gigs or the studio with ease. The clean headroom and tight response is perfect for slapping, picking and shredding bass lines.

TC Electronic Preamp Emulates the Warmth of a Tube Amp

While Class-D power amps excel in portability and efficiency, tube preamps are loved for their rich, organic sound. The BAM200's preamp combines the best of both worlds, using TC Electronic's analog modeling to recreate the warmth and feel of classic tube preamps. Dial in the perfect tone with the intuitive 3-band EQ. The BAM200 responds to your playing dynamics with a touch-sensitive, tube-like sag.

Sculpt Your Signature Sound With Intelligent EQ

Dial in your ideal bass tone with the BAM200's intuitive 3-band EQ. The Bass and Treble controls offer +/- 12dB of boost/cut, giving you ample tonal shaping options. The semi-parametric Mid control lets you hone in on the exact midrange frequency you want to tweak. Set the Mid Frequency selector to Hi, Mid or Low, then boost or cut the level up to +/-15dB. Whether you need a biting Jaco-esque tone or a smooth, round upright sound, the BAM200's intelligent EQ has you covered.

Load Up On Effects With TonePrint

Further expand your tonal palette with the BAM200's built-in TonePrint effects. TonePrint allows you to load customized effects directly into your amp head via the TonePrint app. Dial in lush chorus, glassy delay, tube overdrive and more—the possibilities are endless. With TonePrint, you can even load signature effects from top bassists like Justin Chancellor and Ida Nielsen. Craft your sound with the exact effects you want.

  • Great lightweight giging amp

I winter in Cozumel, MX and carry my bass, amp head, and mic on my back to gigs. "Light weight" is why I bought this amp. I was ready to accept reduced sound quality but really, I can't complain. I think it sounds as good as my other more powerfull amps, it just can't push as much air. It has zero bells and whistles but considering all of the other things it doesn't have (like a big paackage and heavy weight) I am very happy with it. If you need 'light weight' and don't need a lot of power you can't go wrong here. It's a great value.

  • I would this again if lost.

200 watts into a 4 ohm load produces enough volume to compete with a reasonable drummer (wait, is that a contradiction in terms?) Seriously, this is not for a metal player, but run into a 12" 8 ohm cab, or better, a 2x10 4 ohm, you can hear yourself if the rest of the band isn't on a loudness ego trip. I love the fact this little amp slips into the accessory pocket of my bass pedalboard.

  • True to the name BAM 200!

Simple and plenty of power and extremely lightweight. Great sound at a steal. You cant go wrong with this bass head.
