The Delta King 10 from Supro delivers the authentic 6V6-powered tube-amp tone of the Chicago-made Supro combos from the 1950s. Its Class-A power amp provides all of the natural compression and touch-sensitive headroom that have made these vintage “single-ended” combos a bedrock of recorded rock history. Offering five watts of 6L6 tube power through our custom 10" DK10 speaker, the Delta King 10 strikes between at-home recording amp and onstage rig.

This amp sounds great on all 3 channels (Clean, Boost, Drive). I run a lot of pedals into it and there is no distortion or tone loss, but the amp is great w/o pedals. Reverb setting has kind of a weird sound, so I typically don't use it.

I own many low watt all tube amps and most are more expensive, I have Marshall, BlackStar, Crate, Fender etc…the Supro Delta King 10 is by far the best of the bunch, it's ability to breakup at low volume is perfect for recording or practicing, don't get me wrong, this little amp can get loud but still remains clear, it's hard to believe that it will give the type of growl at a low volume but has such great headroom, the trick is as simple as making slight adjustments that's it!

New member and new Supro owner: I took my strat to the Guitar Center for an adjustment as the seasons are changing and it's time. After the work was done, and before I left, I plugged in to test my guitar. The GC had a Supro Delta King 10 on display and that's what I happened to choose, it was closest and plugged in. I was not looking for amps, at all. Within the first few minutes I could tell this amp was vastly superior to what I had at home. The variety of tone, character, and dimension of the sound blew me away. Within 30 minutes I was walking out with it. Now a couple days later and the amp keeps getting better. I love this thing, it's a tone monster, and perfect for my application. I use the amp, with line-out, for recording. I also really enjoy how it sounds in the small room. It can get really loud, too loud, in a good way. The only area of improvement I have found is that the reverb tank isn't isolated very well, IMO. Still usable and awesome to have, but in all honesty I have heard some feedback when the amp is at volume. (The feedback is not present on the line-out, so that makes me think it's the isolation.) it's not too bad but noticeable…. Especially if you take the master up. I will say the standby and line-out are my two favorite features apart from the sound of it. I also like how dynamic the EQ is, you can take it to absolutely broken to perfect and anywhere between.

  • Better blues rig than Blues Jr

Love the classic 60's tone! Needed small amp for home studio recording and small gigs. Picked up an open box unit at my local GC. Takes my Tele better than my Blues Jr for blues rock recording. Master vol allows you to dial in edge of breakup at low enough volume for home use without losing definition. It's not a Princeton, but has sufficient clean headroom with boost circuit. Spring reverb is very useable for blues & blues rock- not as wide a range as Blues Jr, but more than useable. Was surprised by speaker quality. Foot switch not included (why?) but I popped in a generic A-B switch and it works fine to switch boost and gain circuits. Great buy in my book.
