Product is fine quality but is a normally closed switch instead of the more usual normally open switch, so it only works with certain pianos that can accept either kind. Normally I would have returned it, but during the current epidemic, I decided to open it up. I moved the internal switch unit to another spot in the case--a kludge but it works for now.

There are three different versions of this thing that are compatible with different keyboards. They don't say which one this is.

I’m sorry, I don’t know. It's not designed for that but a tech could probably do it.

    Hi,

Users reviews say that this pedal has no switch to adapt to different piano brands. How can I make sure it works with a Yamaha P45?

This won't work with a Yamaha. Typically Yamaha only accepts their brand of accessories.
