Really cool
Really cool. Allows singer to look straight ahead to lyrics etc. I would add an extra limb to the attachment though to allow more flexibility. For example it makes it hard to move the vocal mic downwards to use it as a guitar mic because there's no way to move the stand out of the way without loosening it. Besides that I enjoy it.

Missing a couple of key components
Love the concept, love the size, but when I went to use it on my mic stand, I found that it really needs a second articulating arm. Without this, it is VERY difficult to get access to your microphone, especially with a boom stand! Secondly, and also just as important, there is no rubber bushing or washer for the knob that holds the music shelf itself. Because of this, there is "play" in the stand, making it UNSTABLE - very UNCOOL with my new 12.2" tablet. When I tried a lock washer of my own, the treading on the knob was not long enough, and the nut STRIPS, making it USELESS. This is from a company that makes drumming hardware? Hello? Did you forget about stability? Two stars for CONCEPT, and ZERO stars for DESIGN.

I use it to hold my tablet and sheet music. It lessens my foot print on stage.
Probably fits most

Purchased this to attach to a rolling keyboard cart. The bolt attachment is too small to secure to the cart.
A solid investment.

I use my music stand to extend the music closer to me over my drum kit.
Great idea. Poor quality control

Very poor quality control. So far 1 out of 4 stands has worked. I've had to return 3 of these so far. The first one had a problem with the mount. The second one was fine. Recently I ordered another one, the third stand. It was missing the entire mount. I received a replacement, the fourth one. The mount would not tighten and hold the upper plate securely. So the fifth one is on order. Guitar Center service has been great. Just terrible QC by Stagg.
I probably purchase another one for the other singer.
