This classic offset electric guitar features dual Fender-Designed alnico single-coil Jazzmaster pickups that provide a rich tone with bright highs and robust lows. Its graphite-reinforced C-shaped neck offers stability and easy playability, while a hybrid string-through-body/top-load bridge ensures reliable intonation.

Dual Pickups Unlock a World of Tone

The Paranormal Jazzmaster XII's dual Fender-Designed alnico single-coil Jazzmaster pickups put a wide range of tones at your fingertips. Toggle between the bridge pickup for bright, cutting tones, the neck pickup for warm, rounded sounds or combine them for a versatile middle position. Sculpt your tone further with the master volume and tone knobs. Whether you want to achieve clear rhythms, expressive leads or ambient swells, this guitar delivers.

A Neck Built for Comfort and Stability

The Paranormal Jazzmaster XII's graphite-reinforced C-shaped neck provides exceptional comfort and stability. Its narrow-tall frets make it easy to articulate notes and bend strings, while its 12" radius and 1.6875" nut width feel familiar to most guitarists. The reinforced truss rod and four-bolt neck joint give this guitar lasting durability through environmental changes and heavy use. You'll enjoy playing this guitar for hours without fatigue.

A Bridge for Precise Intonation

The Paranormal Jazzmaster XII features a hybrid string-through-body/top-load bridge that provides precise intonation for all 12 strings. Anchored at the body for added sustain and tonal resonance, this bridge also allows for micro-adjustments at the bridge saddles. Rest assured your chords will ring true and single notes will play in tune all the way up the fretboard.

Vintage Style With Modern Playability

The Paranormal Jazzmaster XII offers thoroughly modern playability. Its slim, contoured offset body is lightweight and comfortable, with an arm contour for unfettered access to the higher frets. Smooth-turning vintage-style tuners make it easy to get in tune and stay there. Combined with its reinforced neck, this guitar provides exceptional performance and style.

Best Fender product of all time for the cost

This is an absolutely amazing guitar. I own 16 electric guitars, and have had and sold another 30. I'll get right to the features. Narrow/tall frets are perfect for a 12-string guitar. The double strings will keep you from contacting the fingerboard in any case, but the narrow/tall frets make for perfect intonation. There are no sharp or high frets. They are perfect. I lowered the strings and it easily went to a super action with no fret buzz. The Olympic White finish is flawless, and the laurel fingerboard is a stunner. Even though the cosmetics are fine, if it doesn't sound good, you are in trouble. This 12-string sounds fabulous. There is no hum on the pickups, and there is a huge difference in sound between the neck and bridge pickups. The middle position is my favorite. The volume control is beautifully tapered with a gradual rise. I've been playing a long time. I bought the original Fender Electric 12 with hockey stick headstock back in 1965. I've also owned a 12-string Strat made in Japan. This Squier 12 plays and sounds better than either of those. Thaks Guitar Center for the fine discount and for shipping the guitar fast and in perfect condition. I give this instrument my highest rating.

#Sweepstakes, this has turned out to be great purchase. My first time for a squire and I'm very impressed with it's playability as it has a great neck. Mine stays in tune really well for a 12 string guitar. The pick ups have a unique sound, but complements the 12 string sound for recording. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it for anyone who wants to add a 12 string to their collection.

I like the finish of the guitar it is absolutely beautiful. I got the lake placid blue and I am glad I did. The guitar stays in tune surprisingly well for it being a 12 sting and all. It is great so far, and I do not see any problems.

Stopped into a local shop today, as I was walking up I'm thinking why am I going in here it's always overpriced and not really the greatest selection. I was really just wasting time and then there it was the lake placid blue paranormal, I thought huh? I don't play 12 string much cause they just are so niche and often budget guitars don't play or sound well. Quite the contrary here. I started playing and the feel was so natural no buzz no strain on my hand to play. It also played up and down the neck. I had to plug it in. Coming out of a Blues Jr. This thing was cake. Paranormal twang indeed, explore the terrestrial landscape and tap into some Petty rickenbocker sounds. It brought a smile to my face and the aww shucks get this thing away from me or it's coming home. Great guitar for the cost, the made in China was a little dissapointing. I prefer to see a made in Indonesia on a squire. But the craftsmanship was quality squier. Definitely worth a rip if called by the paranormal.

  • Jazzmaster XII, Just Get One

I've had my Jazzmaster XII for a week now and it's a fantastic guitar. The Lake Placid Blue is beautiful, it's fairly lightweight at +/- 8 lbs, the neck is comfortable, and it plays very well. It sounds nice acoustically and when I first started playing it, it immediately invoked The Cure in my head (only becuase of the chords I chose). Plugged in, it sounds very nice as well, but I stil need to get used to the pickups. Thus far, the middle position is my favorite. It is neck heavy, but not so much where you're constantly fighting neck dive like a Firebird, so it's easy to forget about. The laurel fretboard wood seems to be an issue with some people. I have no idea what people are whining about because laurel feels no different to me than a rosewood or maple fretboard. Oil it up and play! The only real criticism I have, like other reviews have stated, is the tuners...they work ok, just not optimum. Other than the tuners, the Jazzmaster XII is well crafted, doesn't feel like a cheap guitar, and plays just as nicely as my 5 other Fender/Squier Japan guitars. Do yourself a favor and get one, it's well worth the value. Also, the Fender FEJ610 Jaguar/Jazzmaster gig bag is a perfect fit for the Jazzmaster XII.

Words can't express how impressed I am. 12-Strings aren't the most popular guitars sold these days but I had a Fender 12-String (blue) for a few years in the mid 1960's when they were all the rage and have played primarily a Jazzmaster since 1960 so when I saw this 12-String Jazzmaster (blue like my original) I couldn't resist but wasn't sure what to expect from Squire having never owned one before. I didn't need to worry. The workmanship and finish are pristine, it sounds great and just like I recall, and it required almost no set up right out of the box. Neck relief and string height were exactly where I like them and intonation on 10 of the 12 strings was perfect with the other 2 strings so close they weren't worth messing with. I only felt a need to raise the pickup height a tad. I'm incredibly happy with this guitar and Squire has moved up many steps in my perception. All-in-all an incredible guitar for the price.

This guitar sounds amazing! I love the huge pickups! The tone itself is simply beautiful. And the tone knob is tremendous! The tone knob ha s a quality similar to an EQ. I've never got so much from a tone knob. Playing is a dream. As it has great action and pliability as well as professional sound. Right off the bat I was hearing the same sound tones as songs like You Wear It Well (Rod Stewart) or Over The Hill And Far Away (Led Zeppelin). Simply put, if you looking for a 12 string guitar the Square Paranormal Jazzmaster XII is just what you've been waiting for.
