atG Studios, Chesapeake VA. Soundcraft Signature MTK (mixer & audio i/o) AKAI MPC Studio, Samson Graphite 49, Alesis Mesh Nitro eKIT, (all purchased from G.C. thank you very much) BOTTOM LINE: The Soundcraft Signature MTK just works! High Quality EFX at the mixer. A full 22 (I said twenty two) inputs and 24 outputs! WUT??!! I'm so well pleased with having all those outputs from my computer and right at my fingertips. While SIMULTANEOUSLY, all my gear connected to the mixer. All at once, my playback of old recordings on cassette, minidisk, turntable… everything up and running and connected at your beck and call, with a push of a button. atG Studios is very well connected indeed! This board has (if you so desire) high "Z" line in, for guitars and bass. It also boasts the option to set up a mixer channel as a VST Plugin, inside the DAW. Wow what more could you ask for. I've not attempted that function yet. On the beat making side: After owning the "real deal' AKAI 200xl which I maxed out and sold,,(knucklehead move). I've ironed out the software issues I had with my PC, Not the MPC studio. And now to have control over (albeit stereo channels) real faders on each drum sounds. AWESOME Sauce! I debated for weeks about which product to buy with only about $400.00 +\- to work with. Would it be an Alesis SR16, SR 18, Roland TR8, Arturia Drumbrute? Then I asked a trusted friend and brother, for his thoughts and he sent me photo his machine of choice from Guitar Center. It was the AKAI MPC Studio. I was like dude I want to get AWAY from the computer! But man…what a great marriage! A hybrid MPC Studio connected at the hip with its software. And the Soundcraft Signature mixer connected at the hip with any DAW, that I fire up. This is a dream come true! Analog warmth, digital connection, precision Lexicon EFX and a "hands on" 22 in 24 out audio in your face. Shweeeet just shweeet…wow!

Can this be used as an interface for my Pc CAKEWALK DAW THAT I CAN ROUTE THE 22 INDIVIDUAL CHANNELS TO INDIVIDUAL VIRTUAL CHANNELS ON MY DAW VIA THE USB CONNECTION? I have seen a bunch of described mixer interfaces that can only output a (two channel) stereo output via the usb to my DAW which is NOT what I want. I am trying to avoid daisy chaining my current Presonus Firestudio interfaces and just find 1 mixer interface that I can use instead. Thank you, Joel
I’m sorry, we don’t have that information available We have never tested the unitsubmitted6 years ago
