I gotta fever

Been playing rock for years and recently met a great guitar player who is into funk and Texas Blues. I needed a cowbell and saw this one. I bought the 5.5 inch and it was the perfect prescription. This thing is inexpensive but don't be fooled. Sounds incredible. The only bad thing I can say about it is the mount. Don't get me wrong. Its solid but I wish there was some sort of adapter for mounting differently.

Surprisingly High Pitched

The pitch is surprisingly high considering the size of the cowbell. It appears to be well-made: thick steel, solid welds, sturdy mount. The finish is very attractive. The pitch is much higher than I expected based on my experience with other cowbells. Maybe it is the thickness of the metal or the ratio of width to depth, but it sounds like a much smaller bell.

My version is stamped rather than hammered in texture. It makes it look a little frilly. However, it is heavy duty and has a nice sound, but note that I am not a drummer. I only use it as extra percussion when singing, etc.

  • Prettiest Cowbell You'll Ever Use

Looks amazing! Mounted in between my macho, ride, and china. Using it for ska and rock. Probably a bit small for heavy stuff. Classic sound with an awesome look. Popped a little LocTite on the wing screw. I'm using long American Classic Metal N drumsticks. #sweepstakes

Great sound, easy to install and the sound is nice. Always need more cowbell! with the included hardware i was able to mount it to one of my cymbal stands and did not need a bass attachment. Works and functions as intended.

  • Great build for a beginner drummer/percussionist…pretty goid
