This pickup RIPS. Be warned, it is extremely trebly (compared to a JB), so you might want to back off the tone a bit. That being said, no regrets at all on this little guy after dropping one in my Gibson LP and one in my Agile LP copy. They perform flawlessly, have great feedback, and the pink is a great look.

Will this work in a Squier Strat with a fixed bridge (no tremolo), or are the poles spaced too far apart? (That Strat is pink, but the non-Trembucker version of this pickup only comes in black.)

Yes, the Seymour Duncan Perpetual Burn Trembucker will work in a Squier Strat with a fixed bridge, but expect slight pole alignment mismatch. This assumes an SSH design.
