What do I need in order to rent gear from Guitar Center?
- Current and valid state-issued ID
- Valid credit card in your name
Can I use my organization's credit card?

Yes, you can. There are various details involved with this, so please contact your nearest Guitar Center rental department. You can also fill out an application and set up a business account.
Can I use my Guitar Center credit card?

Absolutely. The rental will be charged as a standard purchase. Financing promos are not available for rentals.
What are your hours?

We are open 363 days per year (only closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas). Rental department hours are the same as the store hours.
Can I see a list of what you offer to rent?

Due to the nature of the constantly growing inventory we offer, the list changes often. Please contact your nearest Guitar Center rental department to inquire. Chances are, we’ve got what you need. If we don’t have it, we can get it for you in most cases.
I've never operated the gear I'm going to rent. Can you show me how it works?

We will take as much time as you need to show you how to use the gear and make sure you’re comfortable setting it up yourself. If you need extra help, we’re always just a phone call away.

You can bring one as a spare to your next big performance, or even try your hand at a 5- or 6-string model before diving in and investing in one of your own. We have a wide variety of basses for rent at Guitar Center, so no matter what you're looking for, there's bound to be an instrument in our selection that matches up with your needs.Electric basses are the cornerstone of our bass rental lineup, just as they're the cornerstone of bass guitars as a whole. You can choose the classic 4 strings, or try a 5-string bass on for size and see how you like it. Or, if you want to turn up the mellow, an acoustic bass rental can get you on your way. Most acoustic basses are acoustic-electric models, meaning they come with pickups built-in so you can connect them to an amplifier to take full advantage of their rich tone in all kinds of playing environments.Apart from bass guitars, other rental options available from Guitar Center include electric upright basses, plus a range of accessories such as amplifiers to get you up and running with your rented bass even if you're starting from scratch. Renting a bass is simple: all you need is a valid ID and a credit card, and if you're renting for a business or organization, we can set up a business account for you to make the paperwork a snap.When you're ready to get started, just call or visit the nearest Guitar Center location. Our staff will gladly walk you through the rental experience, including helping you choose the perfect bass for your needs, and even showing you how to use any unfamiliar features on the instrument and the accessories you choose to rent along with it.
