Description

The Schecter PT Fastback features a contoured alder body with a thin-C hard rock maple bolt-on neck that is reinforced with carbon fiber. The fretboard is bound and has a 14” radius with extra jumbo frets for bending ease.
The PT Fastback is loaded with a pair of classic-voiced Schecter Diamond UltraTron pickups, which may be individually split via push-pull tone controls for extra versatility. Hardware includes Grover 305 tuning machines and a Schecter Diamond Hardtail bridge.

    Excellent build-quality, finish, and sound. The Gretsch models with Filtertron (rather than Broadtron) pickups in this price range all have Bigsby vibratos which I did not want. Fender models with TV Jones / Filtertron pickups are limited edition, Custom Shop, or Made In Japan ... any of which are more expensive. This is an affordable alternative. The sound and playability are fantastic. Volume, tone, and coil-tap for each pickup is great feature. Thin C neck. Grover tuners and six-saddle bridge provide great intonation and tuning stability.
