Schecter Guitar Research Nick Johnston Traditional HSS Electric Guitar Atomic Snow Mint Green Pickguard

Description
Guitar virtuoso Nick Johnston's personal preferences directed the design of the Schecter Nick Johnston Traditional HSS. Optimized for fast, technical playing, this innovative instrument features a rock-solid roasted maple neck with a Thin C-profile and ebony fretboard, as well as 22 extra-jumbo frets for effortless fingering. While its playability appeals to rock and metal guitarists, the HSS pickup configuration with two Nick Johnston single-coil pickups in the neck and middle positions and a Diamond '78 humbucker in the bridge yields a diverse tonal palette. Complete with a vintage-style tremolo for expressive effects and a Graph Tech XL Black TUSQ nut for stable tuning, the Schecter Nick Johnston Traditional HSS guitar responds dynamically to any creative impulse.
Pickups Provide a Spectrum of Tones
To cover the vast sonic range of Nick Johnston's music, this Schecter guitar features single-coil pickups in the neck and middle positions for sweeter, snappier tones as well as a humbucker in the bridge position for heavier, richer sounds. A push-pull tone pot even allows dropping the humbucker's output for more vintage-style tones. With this versatile pickup configuration, guitarists can unearth a huge range of tones to suit any style or genre.
Premium Parts Optimize Playability
Constructed with premium, performance-focused parts, the Schecter Nick Johnston delivers exceptional playability. Its roasted maple neck, modeled after Nick Johnston's preferences, features a thin C-profile and 14" radius ebony fretboard for fast, comfortable fingering. 22 extra-jumbo frets also facilitate technical, precise playing. A Graph Tech XL Black TUSQ nut and Schecter locking tuners help ensure stable intonation and tuning for optimal sound quality.
Vintage-Style Bridge Provides Expressive Control
For expressive control and sustain, the Schecter Nick Johnston features a vintage-style tremolo bridge. Guitarists can create subtle pitch effects like vibrato or more dramatic dives. Combined with the versatile pickup configuration and premium parts, this bridge helps the guitar respond sensitively and creatively to a player's touch.
Striking Colors and Style
The Schecter Nick Johnston Traditional comes in Nick Johnston's signature atomic green color with a mint green pickguard, capturing a classic yet modern esthetic. Its contoured double-cutaway body provides comfortable playability, while the figured maple cap adds visual flair. With premium tonewoods, versatile electronics, and high-performance parts, this Schecter guitar offers an enticing package for guitarists seeking an instrument built for precision, expressiveness and iconic style.

Hands down the best guitar I've ever owned

Like others I was in the market for a new s style guitar. I have probably to many strats but they always feel great in my hands. Until I picked one of these up at gc and fell in love the neck is the best neck you can get. it's thin enough where it doesn't feel like a baseball bat but not so thin that it feels like it might break. The roasted maple looks nice the ebony board is a killer. I had to order the atomic frost and the color is as close to my dream Daphne blue color but is just gorgeous. The hss is great for any genre of music the humbucker can handle anything from jazz to all out metal the single coils can give you that awesome blues sound. All in all don't think twice but this guitar you won't regret it.
Awesome guitar for the price

I was looking for a new strat style guitar and was considering a Fender Player until I discovered this guitar. The neck is killer - I love the thinner neck compared to the Player and the roasted neck is awesome. Able to coil split the humbucker. I can't put it down!!

This S Type came set up from the factory in excellent shape. Intonation is perfect, the fretboard feels like butter. The feel, and ease of play, rival the American, but in many ways outshines it. For 11 50s less, all it's missing is the case and that strap and cable you never use. It's even 5 50s less that the plus and it's still a better S than the American, and far better aesthetics. It has a slightly darker tone, but without loosing the bell like chime. Any S Type with a quality Ebony fretboard is going to bring out the darkness. I've heard some youtuber demos that make it seem darker and flatter than it is once you peal away the plastic. It's a deep rich darkness that want's to be surfed. Especially the green one.
Excellent player... unique tones

i'm a full time player, this instrument is a good all around working axe, had to do shielding for the single coil noise, that was a little disappointing for the price of the guitar. should have been factory attended to.

Hey how's it going? I'm interested in purchasing one of the Schecter Nick Johnston Traditional HSS Atomic Frost guitars. Only I was wondering if I would be able to have one with a particularly dark roasted maple neck picked out for me. I much prefer the darker colored ones. Would this be possible? Thanks for the help.
