Perfect Case

This is an excellent case for a schecter diamond series bass. The bass fits in perfect. The case has one section for the base and another seperate section for other things. It has room for a cable, picks, and a tuner. You can even fit a pack of strings under where the head stock sits. It's nice because you can lay it down, stand it up, or stand it up on its side and the bass doesn't move at all. This case is strong. Just about every time I bring it out of my room I accidentally hit it on the door frame and everything inside and outside the case is fine. Another thing nice about this case is it has a lock on one of the latches.

Not Diamond series case

While the case appears very good, the case Guitar Center is shipping on this link is for Schecter's SGR-6B, which does not fit any Diamond series as far as I know--rather it is for the Damien, Omen, and Stargazer series. The proper case for the Diamond series per Schecter's site is SGR-UNIV/6, which Guitar Center does not currently stock. Hopefully this gets corrected, but would verify the actual case model you are getting before ordering. I would likely have given the case 5 stars if were the proper one--marking down soley in hopes that people will take note and make sure they get the right one.

    Hey people I have a helpful hint for those looking for cases specific for your Schecter guitars. If you goto Schecter guitar research.com page find your specific guitar on the site. You may have to just type to google and then look for the option for sgr site then go there should be specific for which ever guitar you may have. Anyways this Sgr site will give specs on your guitar telling you what works for the guitar. I have found out a lot of information on every guitar they've ever made. These hard cases are fantastic, latches are not the best…. But who keeps their guitars locked up all the time Pick it up and Hit some strings man… Rock rock tell you drop!!! Highly recommend Schecter hard cases

    As another reviewer noted, this is the SGR-6B. No idea why that's not in the description. My Apocalypse C4 slips right in and doesn't wiggle. Plenty of storage for picks, strings, straps, lunch and half your guitarists' pedalboard too

    Silly me for thinking it would fit all Diamond Series basses. I purchased a Riot 5, a Diamond Series bass, and it was incompatible with the case. The case itself was a bit underwhelming, felt cheap compared to other manufacturer cases I have (that came WITH the bass, thank you). Returned it for a Gator universal TSA rated case, a definite upgrade once I received it. This case isn't terrible but I was underwhelmed by the quality.
