Bought to ease the burden of carrying a heavy amp from house to vehicle to gig and back again. Everything about this case is great for road use. My Marshall DSL40C fits like a glove. The only improvement that would be nice is if the handles were raised so you didn't have to bend over as much.

Good value for money. Not as heavy (or heavy duty) as a full on road case, but for my limited use, just right.
a great idea

the fact that this case turns into a waist-high amp stand is brilliant ! I am very happy I bought it, even though it was a little more expensive than I expected. One caveat, my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe fell off a 3 foot ramp while it was in this case, and even though it was cosmetically untouched, I still had to replace a tube that got damaged by the fall. It's important to make sure you amp has a tight fit inside the case, and, you can't expect it to work miracles.
Fits FENDER BLUES DEVILLE 212

I could not ask for anything better. It is definitely worth every penny paid. This case fits my Fender Blues DeVille 212 like a glove. I purchased it after reading another user review that also used it for the same amp (thanks Don). I also like the wheel locks. All 4 wheels have this feature. The only thing I had trouble with was the AUV strap. This is the strap that secures the amp to the bottom part of the case. I had to pull the strap really hard to get it to buckle. It was a very tight fit. Maybe that is better though, to hold the amplifier down. I'm sure this case also holds a 1x12 amplifier. There are 4 corner cleats that can be adjusted (velcro, cleat) depending on the size of amplifier.
Works well for the Marshall AS100D

If you're not touring and don't have the need for a full blown ATA road case then you might want to consider this alternative from SKB. I purchased this case to transport and store my Marshall AS100D acoustic guitar amp and it works well for my needs. The build quality is good and being able to use it as an amp stand at gigs is a nice plus. It comes with good quality hardware and the overall design of the case was a pleasant surprise. There were no issues with the amp fitting in the case. It not perfect of course and if you have a heavy amp like the AS100D then the overall setup can weigh up to 80 lbs. The base has a strap to secure the amp but you will still have space between the amp and the surrounding case. A 1" sheet of dense foam and a little imagination will minimize movement and make it easier to transport this beast.
Excellent, convenient and easy to assemble and use

I was a little skeptical ordering a case that was not specifically designed for my amp, but when it arrived I was able to assemble it for my amp in less than 10 minutes and it held my amp securely. Its a little bigger than I imagined but it was easy to carry, the casters rolled smoothly and my amp was well protected. When playing I chose to not mount the amp on top of the case, just playing with it on the wheeled base, because it was a little too high and would have been too loud in my ears, but its great to have the option for times when you have no monitors. I have no complaints at all but my only suggestions to SKB would be to put a handle on the top of the case as well and to make the wheels locks easier to engage, they are very stiff and difficult to turn on and off. But these minor points aside, I'd fully recommend this case for 1x12 combos if you want something light, easy to assemble and that protects your amp well.
