Description

Available in 20 different keys or voicings, the Blues SOLOIST PRO harmonica is a great go-to for the discriminating professional. It's a diatonic harmonica with laser-cut body and half-flat stainless-steel covers.

The SOLOIST PRO has the following features:

• German Silver reedplates optimized for loudness and extreme airtightness
• Reeds specially set for best response
• Half-flat covers for brilliant sound
• Wooden body, multiple coats of sealant for a resistant finish
• Comes with convenient leather pouch

The dividers at the hole entrances are carefully rounded, lending a kind of lip comfort that is usually only possible with a plastic comb.

Great Harp

I have been wanting to try a harp with a wood comb for awhile. Been looking at the Marine Bands but just couldn't decide. Then one day I was looking at harps on the GC web site and ran across this one. So I thought what the heck I'll give it a try. Right out of the box it was easy to bend, responsive and had a clear crisp tone. The extra coatings on the back lets it slide easily over the lips plus it has a good feel to it. I also like the keys they offer (low D, E, F and b flat). I won't be giving up my Lee's any time soon and I can't say if their any better then the Marine Band but I plan on buying more of these harps and I would recommend them to anyone wanting to try a wood comb harp.

Would not buy another

Thought this would be as good as my Session Steel, but not so. Will spend the extra to get another Session.

    The ease of playability with minimal air fluctuations makes it sound better than the other standard harmonicas.

    I am a seasoned player. I have just about worn out the Honher Marine Band harps and decided to try the stainless steel reeds that Seydel offers. I expect these to last longer than the Honhers and if so I will step up to the 1847 blues harp...

    My best playing, best sounding harmonica. Contoured, sealed wood comb. Smooth gutsy tone. Bends easy. Leather case. You can spend more but why?
